YOUR FIRST LAUNCH, EXPLAINED

A little preparation.
A better beginning.

Everything you need to create a token and connect it to the cause you care about.

1. Choose your cause.

Pick a featured cause from Explore, or paste any GoFundMe fundraiser or gofund.me share link. A fundraiser is required, but it does not need to be listed on this site. Open that link and review the organiser and story before continuing.

2. Make your coin your own.

Choose a name and ticker, then click the artwork area to choose an image or drag one onto it. PNG, JPG, and WebP images up to 5 MB are supported. A square image works best. You will see it in your coin preview immediately, and you can replace or remove it before launching.

You do not need to enter an IPFS link or write a JSON file to design and review your coin. Use artwork you have permission to publish. Your selected image stays in this page until you continue to launch; reloading the page clears an unpublished selection.

Checking your launch cost publishes the image and prepares your public coin metadata automatically, with gofundthem.net fixed as the coin website, @GoFundThemX fixed as the X profile, and your selected GoFundMe link attached separately. Those files remain public if you cancel the wallet request.

3. Connect your Solana wallet.

Choose Connect wallet to see compatible installed wallets. Go Fund Them discovers Solana wallets through Wallet Standard and supports additional browser extensions. Options include Phantom, Solflare, Backpack, Jupiter, Trust Wallet, MetaMask, OKX, Coinbase Wallet, Bitget Wallet, Nightly, TokenPocket, SafePal, Coin98, and MathWallet. Your wallet must support Solana mainnet and versioned transaction signing.

On mobile, open the site in your wallet’s browser; the wallet picker includes Phantom and Solflare shortcuts. For a Ledger, connect the device through a compatible Solana wallet such as Solflare and approve on the device. A wallet appearing in the directory is an installation option; installed compatible wallets appear under Detected.

Before preparing a launch, verify ownership with a free signature. Wallets without message signing can sign an offline verification request that is never broadcast. The site never asks for your seed phrase or private keys. Keep enough SOL for creation costs, network fees, and any initial purchase.

4. Review and approve.

Choose Review & check cost if your wallet is already connected, or connect it on the review screen and choose Check launch cost. The site checks the transaction on Solana mainnet and shows the estimated total, including account creation, the initial purchase, and network fees. The initial purchase has a 1% slippage cap. Then choose Approve in your wallet. Recent cost checks are reused for a quicker approval. If your review takes longer, the site refreshes the transaction before opening your wallet. If the estimated cost changes, review it again before approving. You can cancel before approving.

5. Follow your coin and cause.

After signing, the site waits for onchain confirmation. A confirmed coin appears in Community coins and in My coins for the wallet that launched it, with links to pump.fun and Solscan. If confirmation takes longer, use Check status instead of creating the token again. After closing your browser or switching devices, connect the same wallet in My coins and choose Recover a pending launch.

Fees and payouts.

The initial purchase is optional. The displayed priority fee is additional to the network and launchpad costs shown in your wallet. For every new launch, the creator-fee recipient is fixed to the Go Fund Them collection wallet: C9hTD1kN9WhLBHbuAQjbaJTNgoLKQejfBWtnE6gVWiNW. Creator fees accumulate in Pump’s bonding-curve and, after graduation, AMM fee vaults for this wallet to collect. They are not automatically deposited into its spendable balance on every trade. Network, protocol, and liquidity-provider fees are separate. Existing tokens retain the fee recipient recorded when they launched. Under the planned funding model, those fees will support the GoFundMe cause you chose; automatic fundraiser payouts are not active yet. Visit Fees & impact for the complete journey and current payout status.
